David Lane brings more than a decade of experience in capital markets and infrastructure investing, where he built an international reputation for rigorous judgement and operational fluency. He has led complex energy and infrastructure investments at IFM Investors and ORIX Corporation, and began his career in utilities, power, and infrastructure M&A at Evercore.

Joseph Shovlin is an experienced developer with a proven track record in the energy and digital infrastructure sectors. He has played a pivotal role in the development of over 1,800 MW of energy infrastructure, showcasing his expertise in delivering large-scale, impactful projects.

Stephen Barrett brings more than 20 years of experience in financial leadership roles. He previously led Google’s global balance sheet reporting across EMEA, APAC, and LATAM, managing productivity measurement, financial process optimization, and large-scale compliance initiatives.

Dave Bell brings 30 years of construction leadership and end-to-end project delivery experience across commercial, high-tech, and large-scale digital infrastructure builds. He most recently served as SVP of Construction at Stack Infrastructure, overseeing the delivery of turnkey and build-to-suit large-scale projects.

Dermot Callaghan brings more than a decade of expertise from his tenure at Google Data Centers, where his leadership was instrumental in the successful development of a global data center portfolio exceeding multiple gigawatts of capacity.

Wes Cullum brings over a decade of experience in energy and infrastructure investments, specializing in renewable power development. He has led teams in delivering large portfolios of solar, wind, hydro, and battery energy storage projects, with key roles at EDF Group, CUC (Fortis subsidiary) and Mulilo, a leading renewable IPP in Africa.

Marci Costa brings a decade of experience in real estate, land use, and development law, with extensive work supporting data center projects for major hyperscalers. Most recently with Diode Ventures, a Black & Veatch company, she focused on negotiating and closing complex transactions for large-scale digital infrastructure developments.

Lauren Armstrong is an experienced communications strategist and government relations professional, specializing in complex infrastructure, technology, and energy projects. She previously worked at Canada’s leading high stakes public affairs firm and was a senior government staffer and campaign adviser for more than a decade.

Matt Molina brings over a decade of experience in project engineering, data center construction, and real estate development. Previously at AWS, he delivered more than 3.7 GW of data center capacity, including leading the delivery of AWS’s hyperscale facility in Alberta in 2022.

Ed de Palezieux brings 25 years of experience in Alberta’s electrical market. He previously served as Vice President of the Alberta Electric System Operator (AESO) and as a manager at TransAlta, and has been responsible for connecting approximately 7 GW of generation and load throughout his career.

Andrea Jones brings more than 15 years of experience across digital infrastructure, AEC, and commercial real estate. Prior to joining Beacon, she led digital infrastructure origination at Diode Ventures, a Black & Veatch company, where she focused on strategic site selection and go-to-market alignment for hyperscale and enterprise data center developments.
